Stone Soup Poetry meets every Wednesday online from 7:00-9:00 PM via Zoom. Stay tuned for updates on any future live gatherings. On November 11, Stone Soup friend Julie Marie Hoey returns to our virtual podium.
Julie Marie Hoey is an award-winning artist and poet. Her artwork along with her poetry has been exhibited internationally and lives in collections worldwide. She has been published in numerous magazines, journals and anthologies. Julie Marie moved to Mexico last year and has recently had a poem and two paintings published in Puente MID, a literary and arts magazine. She has started monthly and quarterly open mics in her new home in Merida. Julie Marie loves belly laughs, storytelling, vibrant colors, gardening, her cat Jasper Johns, good grammar, interesting words, reading, fixing things, and exercising. She is certain her greatest gift is amusing others—unintentionally.
