Jamilia Danae Vandyke-Bailey is the daughter of Karyn Vandyke and Dana Bailey, and stepdaughter to Lita Bailey. She is the granddaughter of Kathryne Vandyke and Brenda Caney. she is the mother of Dana-Morrison Sellassie Awuye. She is a sister, aunt, cousin, friend, ex-girlfriend, and enemy. She is black. She is a poet. She is a writer. She is an educator. And she is womxn.
