January 11: Stone Soup Poetry IN-PERSON with David P. Miller

Stone Soup Poetry returns for a live show on Wednesday, January 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Fort Point Arts Community's Assemblage Gallery, located on 70(a) Sleeper Street, just across from the Barking Crab restaurant. Our special feature will be poet and author David P. Miller.

Free admission but donations for features are appreciated.

David P. Miller’s collection, Bend in the Stair, was published by Lily Poetry Review Books in 2021. Sprawled Asleep was published by Nixes Mate Books in 2019. His poems have appeared in Meat for Tea, Denver Quarterly, The Poetry Porch, subTerrain, Muddy River Poetry Review, Constellations, Lily Poetry Review, Caustic Frolic, Clementine Unbound, and Nixes Mate Review, among others. He lives with his wife, the visual artist Jane Wiley, in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.

December 14: Stone Soup Poetry LIVE with Deborah M. Priestly

Stone Soup Poetry returns for a live show on Wednesday, December 14 from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Fort Point Arts Community's Assemblage Gallery, located on 70(a) Sleeper Street, just across from the Barking Crab restaurant. Our special feature will be Deborah Priestly, who returns to Stone Soup after being away for almost five years.

Free admission but donations for features are appreciated.

Deborah M. Priestly is co-founder of the Out of the Blue Art Gallery along with Tom Tipton. For years, she ran the gallery's Saturday Night reading series called Open Bark. Her publication credits include Ibbetson Street, Spare Change, Poesy, Fresh!, Boston Poet, The Boston Herald, The Boston Girl Guide and Out of the Blue Writers Unite (which she also co-edited). She is the author of The Woman Has A Voice from Ibbetson Street Press, an eclectic combination of healing poetry and images of women in transition.
